Mission
Hands On New Orleans inspires and motivates people to meet critical community needs, by encouraging active citizenship through meaningful service.

Vision
We envision Greater New Orleans as a hub of civic-minded individuals that take action through service to meet critical community needs Hands On New Orleans rallies volunteers to assist in rebuilding the neighborhoods of New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Impact
Hands On New Orleans hosts citizens from around the world, as well as provides service opportunities for citizens in the local New Orleans community. Whether you are one person or a corporate team, Hands On New Orleans provides worthwhile and effective volunteer options. We gladly engage out-of-state individuals and groups, local citizens, corporate groups, and tourists, all in service to our community.

Our Impact
Since March of 2006 over 7,000 Hands On New Orleans Volunteers have:
-Gutted nearly 300 houses
-Completed over 150 skilled jobs
-Revitalized over 30 community spaces
-Contributed over 24,000 hours in schools
-Served nearly 10,000 hours at local animal shelters
-Estimated costs savings to the community $6,071,037.28
